The 3D printed housing was created by Kristian to assess the scale
We are currently working on solutions to fabricating the bogie as the 3d printer we have moung the team are too small
We have a contact for a large enough print bed in the makerspace, and are currently working on getting a finalized STL file to submit
Lengthen chassis design, current bogie is ⅓ - ¼ of core’s team length
Create port on the rear of the housing/chassis for charging
Electrical:
3.3V and 5V original lines where found to be insufficient, getting new voltage regulator from Droking for the sensors and Microcontrollers
Microcontroller for Switch Arm deemed sufficient, design on 3rd iteration due to incorrect female housing pins and circuit protection
New Battery packs are coming in, new motor coming in
Need to get hands on second motor and switch arm motor, transient response is worse than originally expected, need to prototype next week with Switch arms motor and two maytech motors
The ESP 32 module was connected to the internet, developed a connection with the influxDB.
Made a folder on Grafana and developed a dashboard to store and pull data.
Made progress on understanding how to set up an MQTT server and communicate with it on the same network using a VPN.
